The Naming and delivery ceremony of 5000-unit PCTC M/V Chang taihong newly purchased by CSCroro from 3Maj Shipyard Croatia was held in afternoon of April 23 (Local Time). After the delivery, CSCroro owns the biggest PCTC in the domestic roro industry, the purchasing of this vessel also marks CSCroro has taken a substantial step towards the internationalization.
In the ceremony, the manager of this vessel gave his passionate speech. He said this vessel is like the yard’s sweet baby girl, now the yard finally finds a wonderful family to marry her, the whole yard feels very happy with this “marriage”.
Mr. Wang rendi (general manager of CSCroro) praised the building quality of M/V Chang taihong for reaching Diamond Level, and he said, to name her as “Chang tai hong” expresses the wish the whole company give her of being safe and lucky in her upcoming sailing.
The flag exchange ceremony was also held after the delivery, M/V Chang taihong’s newly appointed Indian Captain lowered the Croatia flag in the Croatia national anthem, with the eyes of all attendants and under the escort of GM Wang, the PRC national flag and Hongkong flag was handed over to the Captain sincerely and seriously, in the Chinese national anthem, the five-starred Red flag was rising and fluttering.
More than 200 people including the well-known in the Croatia shipbuilding industry, local government officer, 5 national media attended this ceremony.
M/V Chang taihong schedules to sail back to China after 10 days, and will be operated and managed by CSCroro (HK).
